Alder Play is an app developed for Alder Hey hospital for children in Liverpool. The app is designed to help children during their stay at the hospital by offering rewards and distractions.
Already before their arrival at the hospital, the children are able to download the app, select a companion, and explore both the hospital and their procedures. During their stay, the app uses AR stickers to keep the children engaged. Some of these stickers are placed around the hospital, while others are given out by the employees as rewards.
